5 DAYS QUEEN ELIZABETH AND LAKE MBURO HONEYMOON ADVENTURE

Day 1: Entebbe – Lake Mburo National Park

On arrival at the airport you will be picked up by Ganyana safari driver guide who will also brief you about the safari package. After meet and greet travel to the west region of Uganda, have a stopover at the Equator for memorable photograph and refreshment then proceed with the journey to Lake Mburo national park Uganda’s smallest park with great wildlife spreading in the savannah. Upon your arrival have lunch, in the evening prepare for a game drive to spot animals like topi, impala, bushbucks, leopard as they muscle stretch for the prey and having chances to see number of zebras since Lake Mburo is the home for zebras.

Day 2: Game drive and Boat Cruise on Lake Mburo

Early in the morning you enter the park in a game drive, in search for wildlife a view possible more game as compared to the previous evening.  You will be able to see giraffes, zebras, water bucks, topis, elands, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, olive baboons alongside a wide aray of birds.  Later exit the game drive and head for later breakfast, relaxation and lunch.  After lunch, you will move for a boat cruise on Lake Mburo with sightings of Hippos, crocodiles alongside birds such as the African fish eagles. Later depart boat cruise and head to your lodge for diner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park

In the morning, you will be picked by your driver guide and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. You will leave Lake Mburo and drive south following the Rwenzori Mountain chain to reach the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park with an en- route stop for lunch. On arrival at Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will take an evening game drive through the explosion crater-lake fields expecting to spot a variety of species such as elephants, Uganda kob, bushbuck and troops of baboon etc.

Day 4: Game drive and Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel

Get up ready for a 6:30 am morning game drive. The park diverse ecosystem of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible wildlife. Look out for lions, buffaloes, elephants and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for late breakfast, relax at the lodge and later have lunch.  In the evening we embark on a two-hour launch trip on kazinga channel, getting up close to hippos, buffaloes, lions and other wildlife. The boat offers excellent bird watching opportunities as well as another chance to see more wildlife. This cruise will leave you with an amazing experience on water. When back on the shores, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer back to Entebbe Via Ishasha

This morning, you will check out of the Lodge and set out for a game drive in the ishasha area bracing yourself for a chance to see the rare tree climbing lions. The climbing lions of ishasha can be seen lounging in the fig trees during mid-morning as they rest from the previous night’s strenuous hunt!. However, it’s not a guarantee that the lions will be seen some times it depends on the luck and time reaching the area. You will have lunch in the Ishasha sector and after proceed back to Entebbe for your out bound flight.
