Day 1: Arrive – Entebbe


On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, Ganyana safari driver/guide will meet and great then transfer you to your overnight accommodation in Entebbe. You will be briefed about your 15 days Uganda safari.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, Boat cruise


You will start on a long journey to Lake Bunyonyi. As we drive along Mpigi- Masaka highway, we shall make a stopover at the Equator, take pictures and buy some souvenirs. You shall have a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch and then proceed to Lake Bunyonyi a magically, stunningly beautiful lake in Uganda to relax and chill out. Check-in to your lodge and go for a boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi. You can decide to go for swimming at the lodge. You will enjoy seeing the African sun set on Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 3: Nature walk and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.


Breakfast will be served early and after head out for nature walk, guide will be with you so that you do not get lost and tell you the amazing history of Lake Bunyonyi and how they live around Lake Bunyonyi. Lunch on the way as you transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The dense forest which is a home of the remaining mountain Gorillas in the world. Visit the Batwa community which will expose you to their culture basing on how they live, dance, and also hearing stories concerning their culture which will leave you amazed. Have dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP


The long-awaited day is here when we shall encounter the Gorilla forest to meet and greet with the world’s most gentle primates in one of the dense tropical rainforests of the world that will reward you with once in a lifetime unending smiles and memories after setting eyes on the massive ‘Mountain Gorillas’. The trekking is never easy or hard, it’s always fun walking through the jungle and experiencing what life is like in the forest. The hike might be short or long depending on the Gorilla movements. You transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Ishasha Plains in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park for another epic game drive. Ishasha is famous for its iconic tree-climbing lions that climb trees to catch the cool breezes and spot prey. After your game drive, head to the lodge, check-in then later have dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Game drive and Boat Safari on the Kanziga Channel


Enjoy the game drive and view different species of birds and variety of wildlife such as, Uganda Kob, Defassa Waterbuck, Buffaloes, Elephants, zebras, Giant forest hog, Oribi and when lucky a leopard and Lion among others. After lunch embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga channel with beautiful views of birds, hippos and many more as Lake George connects to Lake Edward. Later visit the baboon cave. Head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park


You continue driving through the undulating highlands of Southwestern Uganda on our way to the greener and beautiful Fort Portal area.  Have lunch in fort portal. Head to the Lodge and relax, later have dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Chimp trekking and transfer to Semliki National Park


Our day starts with an early breakfast before meeting our tour guide on a briefing of chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest. We then head off on foot to track the chimpanzees of Kibale national park, home of an impressive 500 chimpanzees. The dense jungles are considered the best place to view chimpanzees in Africa. The guided walk offers a great opportunity to learn more about chimpanzees and other primates along with the various creatures of the jungle. This national park is home to numerous forest wildlife species, boasting one of the highest concentrations of primates in the world. Later Transfer to Semliki national Park. Head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Explore Sempaya Hot Springs and transfer to Murchison Falls NP


After breakfast, we will transfer to the northern part Semliki National park. Get a chance to visit the amazing and wonderful Sempaya hot springs the most attention-grabbing attraction in in this park, at the springs, you will witness water boiling it’s self-using the natural forces. The strength and hotness of the springs are amazing as one can boil eggs and matooke in a few minutes, its ready to eat. Have lunch on the way and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, then head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Morning cruise and Game drive in Murchison Falls


Early breakfast and enjoy a boat cruise on the placid Victoria Nile to the bottom of the magnificent Murchison Falls where the Nile plunges through a narrow crevice. You will be able to see the Nile crocodile, bloat of hippos and a variety of bird species. Visit the top of the falls and enjoy the Magnificent Murchison falls as they squeeze their way through a gorge in the rocks and tumbles 43m below flowing westwards into Lake Albert.  After lunch go for the evening game drive in the Northern sector of the park, on a good day, you may have a chance to see animals like buffaloes, antelopes, lions, elephants and many more. Bird species may include the Black chest snake Eagle, blue napped mouse birds, the secretary bird and many more.  Dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Drive to Kidepo valley national park.


Wake up to a hot cup of Coffee / tea and embark on a drive to Kidepo Valley National Park. You will have lunch enroute, then head to the lodge check in and spend the evening at leisure admiring the wilderness. Dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Full day Kidepo Valley National Park


On this day, we shall do a Game drive and a cultural walk. You will enjoy breakfast as you admire the true wilderness and an out of the world experience! When breakfast is done, you will set out for another rewarding game drive through the open savannah, rocky outcrops, forests and rings of mountains. Drive extensively up to Kanangorok Hot Springs and brace yourself for photo opportunities and chances of catching sight of more wildlife especially lions sitting on the rocks as they scan the park for possible prey. Drive back to the lodge to relax and have lunch. In the afternoon, head out for a cultural tour to the Karamojong people for a truly unique experience. They are a very interesting group of people with a unique culture visible in their way of dressing, cooking, dancing and other daily life activities. Later transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Game drive and Cultural Visit in Matheniko


After an early morning game drive, head to Matheniko Game reserve which is a home to a respectable collection of wildlife including large cats and antelopes. Have lunch, then you will visit the community and the rock paintings. Later head to the lodge in Moroto district for dinner and overnight.

Day 13: Game drive in Pian Upe and Transfer to Sipi falls


Rise early in the morning have breakfast, transfer to Pian Upe Game Reserve and enjoy a game drive which presents an opportunity to spot rare animals like cheetahs, ostriches and roan antelopes and other animals. You will also come across different bird species. Later transfer to Sipi Falls, check in the lodge for relaxation dinner and overnight.

Day 14: Explore the Sipi falls


You will encounter the Sipi falls – a series of three raging waterfalls. After exploring the falls, you will go for a hike up Mount Elgon. The most common route starts in Budadiri and continues via the Sasa trail to the summit, and then descends down the Sipi trail back to the Sipi falls. Hikes around the falls offer breath-taking views across Lake Kyoga, the Karamoja plains and the slopes of Mount Elgon.

Day 15:Transfer to Jinja


You will drive to Jinja located in southern Uganda. At the source of the Nile enjoy a boat ride also get a chance to see the mighty River Nile (longest river in Africa) starting its journey all the way to the Mediterranean Sea. Later head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 16: Explore the Source of the Nile and Transfer to Entebbe

You shall visit the source of the Nile. At the source of the Nile enjoy a boat ride also get a chance to see the mighty River Nile (longest river in Africa) starting its journey all the way to the Mediterranean Sea. Later have lunch and enjoy a city tour in Jinja and head to Entebbe.

Day 17: Departure

After an early morning breakfast, you later transfer back to the Entebbe in time for your flight back home.
