Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe & Birding at Uwec

Arrival at Entebbe International Airport meet and great with Ganyana safari driver /guide and transfer to your overnight accommodation. You will get briefed on how you can get the best experience from your fishing safari. After check in head to UWEC for birding.

Day 2: Spot Fishing on Lake Victoria & Mabamba shoebill Excursion

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Victoria for half day fishing activity from a fully equipped boat as well as other fishing equipment’s, you will spend four hours on the Lake enjoying spot fishing on the Lake. In the afternoon we head to Mabamba swamp for the Shoebill Stork and other water birds like the African and Lesser Jacana, Allen’s and Purple Gallinule, Yellow Billed Duck, Purple and common Squacco Heron, Northern Brown Throated Weaver, Malachite Kingfisher, after which we head to back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3:Transfer to Murchison falls – Birding and hike top of the falls

After breakfast, you will start your journey to Murchison falls through the famous Luwero triangle, Budongo forest on the western arm of the Rift valley, with lots of bird species and great sceneries reaching the park in the afternoon. Head to top of the falls where the Nile perfects its beauty before transferring to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Boat trip, Game drives & Fishing in Murchison Falls NP

After breakfast, go for a brief game viewing session before going for fishing is from the rocks around several pools below the Falls. In the afternoon, you may go for a launch cruise on the Nile River. This cruise will take you to the bottom of the thundering falls. It involves having a scenic view of schools of hippos, huge crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants and a variety of water birds such as the rare shoebill, cormorants, ducks, bee-eaters, skimmers, fish eagle, kingfishers and herons.

Day 5: Transfer from Murchison Falls to Entebbe

After breakfast take on a leisurely drive to Kampala arriving at your preferred accommodation. Afternoon or to the Airport for your outbound Flight.
