TRIP ITINERARY

Arrival:

Day 1: Arrive – Entebbe

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, Ganyana safari driver/guide will meet and great then transfer you to your overnight accommodation in Entebbe.

Day 2: Drive to Moroto

Wake up early in morning, meet your driver guide and start your long day drive to Moroto.

Day 3: Drive to Kidepo valley national park

Drive to Kidepo Valley National Park. You will enjoy a slow drive, you can be sure to seize picture moments while on your way to the lodge and you can have stops at any moment.

Day 4: Full day Kidepo Valley National Park

Head out for a cultural tour to the Karamojong people for a truly unique experience. Enjoy a rewarding game drive through the open savannah, rocky outcrops, forests and rings of mountains.

Day 5: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park

Drive from Kidepo Valley National Park to Murchison Falls National Park. You will enjoy an en route game drive through the northern section of the park popularly known as Para.

Day 6: Morning game drive and boat safari to the “bottom of the falls”

Set off for a morning game drive on the Northern Delta Nile with sightings of Lions, buffalos, waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeest, Rothschild’s giraffe, oribi and baboons are some of the animals to expect. After lunch, you will embark on a three-hour boat cruise on the Nile.

Day 7: Drive to Kibale Forest – Bigodi Swamp walk

Enjoy the Magnificent Murchison falls as they squeeze their way through a gorge in the rocks and tumbles 43m below flowing westwards into Lake Albert. Then drive to Kibale forest National park commonly, in the afternoon visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a nature walk.

Day 8: Chimpanzee Tracking

With a ranger guide, you will venture into the jungle in search of the chimpanzees.

Day 9: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Depart from Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park. After checking in, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive where you will enjoy many wildlife sightings.

Day 10: Game drive and Boat Safari on the Kanziga Channel

Enjoy the game drive, later after lunch embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga channel with beautiful views of birds as Lake George connects Lake Edward.

Day 11: Transfer to Bwindi Forest via Ishasha

Exit Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Ishasha Plains in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park for another epic game drive. Head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 12: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Gorilla tracking begins at 8:00a m. The trek length varies depending on where the gorillas spent the night, ranging from 30 minutes to 7 hours, once you the gorilla family, you will spend one hour with them, observing them feed, socialize and display their prowess.

Day 13: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, Nature walks and hikes

After gorilla trekking Lake Bunyonyi is a magical, stunningly beautiful lake in Uganda to relax and chill out. After lunch you will go for nature walks, hikes and a guide will be with you so that you do not get lost.

Day 14: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park driving through winding roads, farmlands and forests. On arrival you will embark on a game drive. After dinner, you will set out to explore this park on a nocturnal game drive guided a by a ranger, you will be scanning the savannah.

Day 15: Transfer back to Entebbe

Start your journey back to Kampala passing through rolling hills with terraces and also you will have a great time viewing the lush vegetation of the different areas you will go through. Have a stopover at the Equator and Mpambire drum makers point. The guide will drop you off Entebbe Airport for your out bound flight.
