Day 1

Safari Overview

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Visit the Top of the Falls
Ganyana safari driver/ guide will pick you from the hotel, meet and greet then begin the Murchison Falls Adventure with a transfer to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, an asylum to the Rhinos. Enjoy a lunch break at Kabagambe Resort and later continue on the road to Murchison falls National Park.

Day 2

Afternoon boat safari to the “bottom of the falls”
enjoy a boat cruise on the placid Victoria Nile to the bottom of the magnificent Murchison Falls where the Nile plunges through a narrow crevice. You will be able to see the Nile crocodile, bloat of hippos and a variety of bird species.

Morning game drive
Wake up early at 6:00 am and head out for a morning game drive, Wild life in this area includes; Giraffe, Elephant, Hartebeest, Lion, Uganda Safari Kob, Oribi and a variety of Savannah and woodland birds. Later return to the lodge for breakfast.

Day 3

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After an early breakfast, start your road drive to Kibale Forest National Park as you enjoy the beautiful countryside landscape. Kibale Forest National Park is found in Fort Portal, a town at the south-western side of Uganda where you will enjoy views of tea plantation and banana plantations. Reach the lodge, relax and prepare for your chimpanzee tracking of the next day.

Day 4

Chimpanzee Trekking
After an early breakfast, head over to Kibale Forest Headquarters and get a briefing on the day’s activity. With a ranger guide, you will venture into the jungle in search of the chimpanzees and while tracking, you will be able to spot different animal species like the Red Colobus, Black and white Colobus, Grey-cheeked Mangabey, Olive Baboon, Red-tailed Monkey, and L’Hoest’s Monkey among others and different bird species. You will spend one hour with the chimpanzees as you watch them play, feed and groom each other.

Bigodi nature walk
In the afternoon visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a nature walk, rich in biodiversity and beautiful scenery, the wetland is a birder’s paradise with about 138 species hosting eight species of primates including the black-and-white colobus, grey-cheeked mangabey, red-tailed, l’Hoest’s and blue monkeys, and olive baboons. Later you can enjoy a walk to the “top of the world” along crater lakes in this area are also famous for crater lake views and the mountains of the moon.

Day 5

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
On this day, after a relaxed breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park. You will peacefully be driven to the park towards the south passing via the Crater Lake area as you enjoy the beautiful landscape with hills.

Evening Game drive
You will enjoy an evening game drive and spot various animals like lions, leopards, elephants amomg others and different bird species.
Later head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 6

Morning Game Drive
At 6.00a.m wake up for an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park exploring the area along Kasenyi and Queens’s Mile. Wildlife sightings include elephants, lions, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, waterbucks, warthogs and various bird species, after head back to the lodge for breakfast .

Boat trip along the Kazinga Channel
In the afternoon, you will embark on a two- hour boat trip on Kazinga channel, getting up close to hippos, buffalos and other wildlife. The boat trip offers excellent bird watching opportunities as well as the chance to see elephants, warthogs and kobs. The banks of the channel are home to a rich variety of wildlife. This ride will leave you with an amazing experience on water.

Day 7

Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Bwindi via the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park and here you may spot many wildlife including the famous Tree climbing lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, among others. Bwindi forest is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps.
Arrive in the evening and overnight as you prepare for Gorilla Tracking.

Day 8

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
After breakfast, you will proceed to UWA visitor’s reception where briefing is done before tracking. It takes a few minutes but you leave with gorilla etiquette. Walk and hike this steep and slippery terrain until you meet the family gorilla. Enjoy this one hour allowed in the company of the brilliant giants!
Looking into the eyes of one of the magnificent creatures brings home the distressing fact that they are on the edge of extinction, and that your presence contributes to ensuring their continual survival.
Depending on the duration of the track you can either head for Batwa cultural experience, relax at the lodge or enjoy another walk around the village with the breathtaking views of the virunga mountains.

Day 9

Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and canoe excursion
Enjoy an early breakfast, embark on your journey across the beautiful landscape, the rolling hills, cultivated terraces, tropical rainforest.
Lake Bunyonyi is one of the only lakes around where you can swim safely, here you will have time to relax, swim, go for a ride in a dugout canoe or just sit by the side of the pool and read a book. Later head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 10

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, we set out for Lake Mburo National Park where we will go on a game drive in search of eland antelopes, zebras, impalas and many acacia- associated birds. We will also visit some of the lakes within the park where hippos, crocodiles and variety of water birds will be seen. After lunch, we crown off the afternoon with a boat ride on the lake.

Day 11

Transfer back to Entebbe
With an early breakfast, you will go for a walking safari, where you will have the chance to get up close and personal with the wildlife. Stop-over en-route for lunch thereafter proceed at the Equator to buy some souvenirs to take back home and continue to Entebbe for your flight home.

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and visit top of falls.
Ganyana safari driver/ guide will pick you from the hotel, meet and greet then begin the Murchison Falls Adventure with a stopover at Nakasongola where you will have lunch then transfer to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, an asylum to the Rhinos. Enjoy a glimpse of the white Rhino alongside some birding around the vicinity and later continue on the road to Murchison falls National Park.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise to the Bottom of the Falls
After an early morning breakfast, embark on a half-day game drive on the northern bank of the river Nile. Escorted by game ranger, you may opt for a game walk while trailing animals and studying animal spoors. Game in this area includes Giraffe, Elephant, Hartebeest, Lion, Uganda Safari Kob, Oribi and a variety of Savannah and woodland birds. After lunch, take a Nile Cruise to the bottom of the falls for game viewing at close quarters.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After an early breakfast, start your road drive to Kibale Forest National Park as you enjoy the beautiful countryside landscape. Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Relax as you appreciate the breathtaking atmosphere at the park before going for an evening Game drive.

Day 6: Game Drive and Boat Cruise along the Kazinga Channel
Enjoy an early breakfast, and head out for a morning game drive to the Kob mating area in Kasenyi. Expect to see elephants, buffaloes, lions and other fauna in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, go for an exciting boat cruise along the Kazinga channel. A good percentage of wildlife is found along this channel including buffalos, hippos and elephants.

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha
